Trailblazer Award

WDS is proud to announce that our client, warehouse1 (wh1.com), has been selected as a recipient of the "Wells Fargo Trailblazer Award" in recognition of their innovation and outstanding business accomplishments. Owner, Mary Lou Jacoby, is one of 3 national finalists and will be honored at the NAWBO National Convention.

warehouse1 has developed recycling and reuse to a degree not yet fully appreciated by contemporary industrial standards. An estimated 12 million tons of surplus, overstock, seconds, and outdated equipment are kept out of landfills each year due to their refurbishing, then creating new uses for it. In 2003 alone, warehouse 1 recycled 800,000 lbs of steel. That is enough steel to fill 3 square blocks!! Check out their website for the complete story.
