conveyor
conveyor

Transport materials and products to your employees, increasing quality control and safety.  Conveyors eliminate inefficiency and wasted time moving product or traveling to product locations.

Conveyors can be classified into four groups:

  • Gravity conveyors move product either by gravity or manually pushing the product.  Gravity conveyor costs less to install and operate and is often used for temporary conveyor lines.
  • Power conveyors use motorized power to automate the transportation of goods.
  • Flexible conveyors expand to fit your product transportation needs and compact when not in use.  Flex conveyor can be either powered by a motor or gravity.
  • Lifts and carousels transport goods vertically to multiple heights (from the ground to a mezzanine for example) or horizontally for increased order picking throughput.

warehouse1 works with you to design and install the new or used conveyor system that meets your material handling goals and improves your operational costs.  Contact us today to help you design and install an efficient and cost effective conveyor solution.

gravity skatewheel conveyor

Reduce the time it takes to load and unload boxes from trucks. Gravity skatewheel conveyor uses a series of small steel wheels to transport products. This type of conveyor system is very popular because it is economically priced and easy to setup. Unlike other conveyor systems, transported items can be wider than width of the skatewheel conveyor itself. A minimum of ten wheels should be beneath your product at any given time.

gravity roller conveyor

Use gravity to convey your heavy, uneven and open package products. Gravity roller conveyor, also known as roller conveyor, typically features spring-loaded axles. Gravity roller conveyor has a higher capacity than skatewheel conveyor. A minimum of three rollers should be beneath your product at any given time.

slider bed conveyor

Transport your materials on this popular conveying system. Slider bed conveyor uses a moving belt that slides along a flat steel bed with pulleys at both ends. This easy to install conveyor system is designed to carry light to medium weight loads.

belt over roller conveyor

Increase the efficiency of your assembly lines and sorting and inspection processes. A belt over roller conveyor system is designed to handle a variety of loads such as boxed goods, furniture and product totes. The rollers underneath the conveyor belt reduce friction and allow for higher capacities than slider bed conveyor.

live roller conveyor

Live roller conveyor transports loads directly on rollers powered by belts or o-rings. The metal rollers carry a product down the path automatically. Live roller conveyor systems come in various section shapes and applications.

incline conveyor

Move your products between different elevations of your warehouse or distribution center. Incline conveyor systems are often belt conveyors because the solid friction point underneath holds items at a constant speed up and down the conveyor path. One common application for an incline conveyor is moving from a mezzanine level to the ground level and vice versa.

accumulating conveyor

Gather and hold your materials in place until personnel or processes down the conveyor line are ready for it. Accumulating conveyors can be set at different rates to hold items until they are ready to be picked up. A common application for an accumulating conveyor is prior to bundling and packaging goods to be shipped in bulk.

chain driven conveyor

Transport your heaviest palletized loads and drums up to 1,900 lbs per foot. Chain driven conveyors are driven by a double sprocket roller system. These small loops of chain connect each set of rollers to the next. The welded support construction, durable chain and metal sprocket system is strong enough to transport heavy bulk materials. This simple and yet reliable design is what makes chain driven conveyors the cornerstone of heavy load conveying systems today.

sortation conveyor

Merge, separate and divert products in multiple directions on the conveyor line. The most common use of sortation conveyors is in distribution centers where picked items need to be routed to one of many possible truck loading docks for shipment.

pallet conveyor

Transport, stop, accumulate or stage your palletized loads. Pallet conveyors are heavy-unit conveyor systems that quickly automate the distribution of your palletized loads.

flexible gravity conveyor

Move, adjust and reconfigure your conveyor system based on your application. Flexible gravity conveyors are ideal for handling items in a packaging and shipping area, truck loading and unloading, flexible assembly lines and any application where you may need flexibility and the ability to quickly configure a conveyor route for a particular job.

flexible power conveyor

Expand this powered conveyor to fit your product transportation needs. Flexible power conveyor is suited for truck loading and unloading, portable assembly lines, shipping and receiving and distribution centers.

vertical lift modules

Increase personnel safety and productivity. Vertical lift modules consist of an extractor mechanism located between two sections of stationary racking inside a metal enclosure. A series of trays inserted in the racks are used for material storage. Vertical lift modules produce a more efficient workflow by directing a large amount of inventory to a worker, eliminating the climbing, reaching and bending when picking from multiple levels.

vertical & horizontal carousels

Bring your parts and tool materials to a picker at one fixed location. Carousels eliminate bending, stretching and climbing by your personnel, reducing inventory losses and labor costs while increasing storage density.

Vertical carousels consist of a series of carriers mounted on a vertical closed-loop track inside a metal enclosure.

Horizontal carousels are similar, in that the shelving sections are mounted on a horizontal closed-loop track.

vertical reciprocating conveyors

Move your inventory and material to multiple levels of your facility. Vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRC) are a hydraulic lift system designed to safely and easily lift bulk warehouse materials from one level to the next. These systems are economical and can be installed thru floors or as exterior applications to a mezzanine, balcony, or building story.
