dock plates

Bridge the gap between trucks, trailers and your loading dock. Dock plates are steel or aluminum plates with locking leg and hand holes or handles to move them. Dock plates are light duty and economical for loading and unloading freight manually with a pallet jack hand truck. Never drive forklifts or other powered lift equipment over a dock plate.

dock boards

Drive your forklifts across a dock board to load and unload freight from a tractor-trailer. Dock boards are ramps that bridge the gap between trucks, trailers and your loading dock. Constructed of steel or aluminum, dock boards have structural curbs on both edges and are more durable than dock plates. Aluminum dock boards are used for low to medium applications with capacities from 10,000 to 15,000 lbs. Steel dock boards are for heavy-duty applications with capacities from 15,000 to 60,000 lbs.

rail boards

Bridge the gap between all types of rail cars and your dock. Rail boards are constructed from steel and handle capacities from 15,000 to 80,000 lbs.

edge of dock levelers

Correct height differences between your loading docks, loading platforms and truck or trailer beds. Edge of dock levelers are ideal when the original dock design did not include a pit mounted leveling system (see dock levelers). Edge of dock levelers are mounted on the exterior edge of the dock and designed to have a 5 inch range above or below the dock height. Rated to handle capacities ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 lbs., an edge of dock leveler is for forklift use and not recommended for use with pallet jacks.

dock levelers

Adjust the height of your dock to bridge the gap between the dock and trailer. Dock levelers are typically installed in a pit and incorporated in the floor surface of the facility.

Two types of dock levelers are available. Mechanical dock levelers are the most common type of dock leveling system. Its economical pull-chain operation engages the dock to raise and kick the lip out over the truck trailer.

Hydraulic dock levelers are a step up from the mechanical dock leveler. This system uses a switch mounted on the wall next to the dock to power a hydraulic cylinder to that elevates and engages the lip to mount on the truck trailer. A hydraulic dock is the best solution for your active dock that loads and unloads multiple trucks daily.

yard ramps

Facilitate traffic between the ground and a trailer, a loading dock or a rail car. Yard ramps, also known as loading ramps and portable loading docks, are made of steel and available in stationary and portable models.

wheel chocks

Prevent trucks and trailers from moving during loading and unloading of freight. Wheel chocks are placed behind or in front of tires. OSHA standard 1910.178k requires wheel chocks or other locking mechanisms for all trucks and trailers that are being entered by personnel by both powered and manual lift equipment.

dock bumpers

Protect your dock, buildings and cargo from damage caused by trucks and trailers. Rubber dock bumpers are installed on the edge of loading docks, in warehouses and in factories to absorb an impact and prevent damage.

Seal in heat and cool air and seal out wind, rain and dust. Dock seals and dock shelters allow access to your dock doors while saving energy and money. By sealing out the elements during loading and unloading, dock seals and dock shelters reduce employee injury and sickness and protect equipment from moisture and debris.

dock lights

Minimize damage to freight during loading and unloading. Consistent visibility outside and inside a truck trailer is key to providing a safe work environment. Dock lights improve visibility inside trailers and around dock areas.

vinyl strip doors

Save energy and utility costs while reducing dust, debris and noise. Vinyl strip doors are a made from a series of overlapping vinyl strips. Vinyl strip doors are flexible enough for a forklift or person to pass through and automatically fall back into place, ensuring minimum loss of heated or cooled air.
