Whiskey, Corvettes, and Caves — these are among the most famous things associated with the great state of Tennessee.

Whiskey: Legally defined as Bourbon Whiskey, Tennessee Whiskey is produced with rigid legal standards from the state to preserve the unique flavor of one of the state’s main exports. Memorialized in many songs, Jack Daniels is the most popular distillery in the state.
FedEx: Headquartered in Memphis, FedEx is a key player in the US courier industry. Be it through the air or on the ground, FedEx raked in $47 billion in 2015 and shipped over 1.25 billion packages, traveling 2.5 million miles into 220 countries. FedEx employs 300,000 full time workers.

Country Music: Nashville has turned into a very cool destination in the midwest. It is the home of a budding music scene where nearly every bar has great acts. It is also the home of the Grand Ole Opry, which is a legendary fixture in the genre. Many famous musicians got started in the city of just over half a million, and the culture reflects the industry.

Quentin Tarantino – An iconic American director, Tarantino burst onto the scene in 1992 with Reservoir Dogs. He won two Oscars for best screenplay with Django Unchained and Pulp Fiction. Tarantino has a distinct style and has an incredible list of credits to his name.

Morgan Freeman –Freeman has appeared in iconic roles in films such as The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy, Million Dollar Baby, Glory and The Dark Knight. Born in Memphis, Freeman served in the Air Force and has narrated the series Planet Earth.

Davy Crockett –-Crockett was a congressman and a mythologized frontiersman whose life was glorified in books. Born in 1786, Crockett was described as a superhero in the Old West — excellent hunter, good family man, a politician with integrity.

Aretha Franklin – An American original, Franklin transitioned her Gospel music background into a career with soul and Motown music, belting out smash hits such as “Respect” and “A Natural Woman”. Dubbed the Queen of Soul, Franklin has won 18 Grammy awards.

Bill Belichick –-A four-time Super Bowl-winning coach, Belichick’s accolades are among the NFL’s elite. The Patriots shocked the world in 2002 and sustained a great deal of success for over a decade. Always controversial and often unlikable, there is no debating Belichick’s win totals.
