New & Used Warehouse Dock Equipment & Supplies

Expedite the transfer of your materials to and from your dock doors. Loading dock equipment, also called shipping dock equipment and warehouse dock equipment, improves the efficiency and safety of the loading dock in your facility or warehouse. Dock equipment, used with forklifts and pallet jacks, increases access to load and unload tractor trailers or train cars.

Buying Used Dock Equipment can cut down on your warehouse costs. All used products function in the same manner as new products, but may differ in physical appearance. While purchasing used can be cost effective, make sure you know exactly what you’re getting. Some tips for purchasing Used Dock Equipment include: Always inspect a used product in person when possible, if you can’t inspect it ask for photos, research the company’s reliability (WH1 is well known for the quality of our Used Products), and always ask as many questions as you can. Our knowledgeable staff is capable of answering anything you can think of.

Dock Equipment FAQs

Q. Why do I need a dump hopper?
A. A dump hopper is a cost effective way to turn your forklift into a scrap or refuse removal machine. These self-dumping hoppers are excellent for warehouses, construction sites, and any kind of metal or wood working shops.

Q. What is the most popular dump hopper size?
A. Dump hoppers come in a wide variety of sizes from 1/4 yard to 5 yards and capacities from 2000 lbs. to 6000 lbs. to fit your specific application. The most popular units that we sell are the 1 and 2 yard hoppers with a 2000 lb. capacity, but our design experts can help you decide the perfect size for your company based on material size and weight that you will be loading.

Q. What is the difference between a dock plate and a dock board?
A. A dock plate is for light, non-powered traffic. A dock board can be used for power traffic including forklift traffic with the right capacity.

Q. What capacity dock board should I buy?
A. A good rule of thumb to calculate the capacity you will need is based on your forklift. If you have a 3 wheel forklift with a 3500 lb. capacity, you multiply 3500 x 4. If you have a 4 wheel lift, multiple the capacity by 3. This simple calculation will give you a standard needed capacity.

Q. Do all dock boards come with curb rail?
A. Yes, all dock boards come with curb rail for safety and the rail also helps provide the support needed to carry these substantial loads.
